The BariClip is one of the newest bariatric procedure, offering notable advantages as it is reversible, does not involve stomach resection, and replicates the benefits of the sleeve gastrectomy but with fewer risks of complications (such as fistula or reflux). It is still an experimental procedure and few complications commonly with gastric band like slippage or migration were recorded during the last years.
